I am a Ukrainian-American artist creating surrealistic art with unconventional materials. Portraiture in this form is both an exploration of social issues and an expression of my own past. The symbolic use of sharp glass, rich oil color, and abstract elements invites the viewer to reflect on their own human experience.

Artist Biography
My name is Diana Luckysova. I was born in Ukraine where I received a master’s degree in philosophy, which was both useless and life-changing.
After moving to the US, I spent 14 years working as a professional photographer, commission artist, and gallery owner at Luckysova Studios Gallery in Old Town, San Diego.
Over the last decade, I’ve slowly traveled and lived in eight countries across the Americas and Europe, gaining a wide range of life and technical skills along the way. This international lifestyle has deeply influenced my personality and how I communicate with the world through my art.
