This Kristina as she breaks into her new life…born out of a bed of sweet roses seems to be breaking through and away from sharp sorrow…finally breathing fresh air, no more pain no more suffering…her lunges first inhale, her eyes beginning to focus and seeing clearly for the first time…she is alive and at home in love.

    • Beautifully said. Thank you Rachel?

Beautiful work! A story many can relate to. It’s a balance of personal boundaries and compassion. I know I can relate, I’m currently battling how to hold space for a life long best friend who is battle substance abuse and the reality of her abilities to come out of it. Love the title!
